Purpose of Processing
The organization and operational management of the IV Industrial Hygiene Symposium, including:
- Managing the congress informational website.
- Managing participant registrations and accreditations.
- Handling inquiries and sending informational communications related to the event.
- Coordinating sponsors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Managing hotel bookings and associated services available through the website.
- Designing, coordinating, and producing graphic materials and congress merchandise.
- Typesetting presentations and publishing them on the website after the event.
- Providing and coordinating hostess services.
- Managing the general logistics of the event and resolving unforeseen issues.
- Invoicing related to registrations, where applicable.
Legal Basis
The processing of personal data is based on the consent of the data subject, in accordance with Article 6.1(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Consent is given specifically and separately for each of the following purposes:
- the management of the registration request and the organization and development of the Symposium;
- the preparation and dissemination of training, awareness-raising and/or guidance actions, as well as information related to occupational risk prevention.
The data subject may withdraw any consent granted at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.
Recipients
Galben Tours, S.A., trading as Patterson Travel, will not transfer your personal data to third parties except where there is a legal obligation to do so or where it is necessary for the provision of the contracted service (for example, hotels involved in managing reservations).
Data Retention
Personal data will be retained for the time necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, in any event, for the legally established periods. Specifically:
- Employment registration data: 4 years.
- Accounting and tax data: 6 years.
- Video surveillance data: 1 month.
Once the applicable retention periods have elapsed, the data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with established procedures.
Rights of Data Subjects
Under the GDPR and the Spanish data protection legislation, you have the right to:
- Access: Obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal data and, if so, access to such data.
- Rectification: Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
